ABOUT ME

I live with my dog, Kela.
Dario: I'm a historian, working as a gardener, part-time English teacher and occasional translator. I like climbing, mountainering, cycling, reading (a lot), football (Barça fan NOT Real Madrid).. etc, cooking, art, some people, animals, dogs, birds.

I love ornithology and bird watching, hiking, cinema, art and museums, travelling (more on the humble, small, camping trips), the sea, reading and debating about anything and everything (from feminism to music, passing through politics, economy and everything in between)

PHILOSOPHY

Accept responsibiliy, don't complain, and assume that injustice isn't just something that's there.. it springs from places and has causes, therefore it can and must be criticized.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host a lot, and surf quite a bit less. I like to have people around, but you can feel free to be a free-spirit, and just see each other at night, but if you like to go out, or see the city with me, I'll happily show you around and try and make you have fun.

anything, ranging from the classic era, (the apartment, casablanca, and all that jazz) to 70's (Dario´s own freak favourite), post-modern, or even silent. European, USA, asian... we like the canon and we like the exceptions. Favourites... 8 1/2, Amarcord, 70's scorsese, or Kurosawa, Pasolini,,, pfff, too much to mention.

Books... just can't mention a few books, really read everything, from philosophy, to political critique, history, literature, science, poetry, memories... (well, no bestsellers, or Damn Brown's or poo like that)
