About Me

I'm a medical student who lives and studies in Zurich. I share a flat with three friend and a cat which is why I can't host at the moment. My roomates are not that fond of people they don't know.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really enjoy traveling, of course, and I think that couchsurfing is an easy way to get in touch with local people who can tell me where to go, how to get there, what to see and what not.
Plus, it's way cheaper =) because the cheaper the journey, the longer it is.

Interests

I'm really into singing which is why I sing in a choir. I love going to the cinema, opera or the theater. In the summer, I like to sail and in winter I'm passionate about skiing (then again, which Swiss isn't).
I really enjoy cooking with friends and enjoy a glas of white wine but we may as well go clubbing. As long as I can have my wine ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm pretty open and spend a lot of my free time reading and watching movies of all genres. Some of my highlight from last year are the books 'we need to talk about kevin', 'bossypants', 'the world according to garp' and everything by Amélie Nothomb. Musicaly I'm really into La Roux, Lorde , Robyn, First Aid Kit and every musical ever written =)
With movies I'm down for whatever although I have to say that the best movies ever made are Who's afraid of Virginia Woolf, Kramer vs. Kramer and the Rocky Horror Picture Show.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've finished Die Judenbuche, a novellla by Anette von Droste-Hülshoff. Of course I realize that this doesn't sound like much but believe me if you'd have read the book, you'd understand. It's a terrible read. The. Worst. EVER.
