Hi I'm Darius, a student of Aerospace Engineering, bartender, hobby-DJ (liquid drum and bass, EDM ) from Germany.
My interests include music (as a DJ and a piano enthusiast), astronomy, indoor climbing, meeting new people and challenging myself to experience new things, especially if they scare me a little.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I made a plan to ride my bicycle from Los Angeles to Miami in three months (October to December) and I would love to connect with new people and get to know their way of life, as well as share mine. I think Couchsurfing is a great way to achieve that, because it has an open and welcoming community.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I created a warm up mix for a festival I went to last summer and got great feedback from fans of the genre. It especially felt great to be recognized as the DJ while I was at the festival.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I've been working at a bar for three years, so I have quiet a few freaky stories to tell (people do weird things when they are drunk...). Since I'm kind of an astronomy nerd, I know a lot of fun facts about space and the universe which I love to share with people (if they are interested, of course).
I also make a great lasagna ; )
