I am an energetic PHD student in the field of applied machine learning - if I am not racking my brain over complicated algorithms, I am doing sports or meeting friends.
Asian food makes me weak - I would never say no to well-made Sushi or Ramen.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My studies lead me to a lot of places all over the world - staying in hotels is a bit lonesome and very boring. Couchsurfing is the solution!
Further I am looking forward to meeting new people and extend my personal network.

Music, Movies, and Books

For being rather uninterested in fictional books, I like to stick my nose into books about history or life-science. Although I can recommend many of them - it's hard to pick a favorite one. If a favorite book is defined by the times you open it however, I think I have to name my notebook as my favorite.

Something similar accounts for movies, I am afraid, but if I have to choose one, I think I'd pick any of the Star Wars movies.
