I'm a beardy speccy type from the East Midland county of Nottinghamshire, the home of Robin Hood, Lord Byron and Quigs (probably wouldn't know him).

I grew up in a small sleepy village with my parents and four older brothers, we had green summers and gloomy winters.

I'm an artist at heart and always will be, while that may sound horribly pretentious I've learned to accept my pretentiousness and to follow my dream.

I'm fresh to the couchsurfing scene, when I discovered it I was relived to hear there were alternative to hotels and hostels.

Many friends of mine have already much experience and have told me of the benefits and relationships you can gain from couchsurfing, so it seems like a no brainer to start doing it myself.

I started traveling when I was 18, but I've got a long way to go. I plan to explore much of Europe and this seems like a wonderful way to go about it.

I love drawing, I rarely go anywhere without my sketchbook.

I also like to make films, I've been playing around with stop-motion animation since I young. From lego to puppets.
