ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is David and I hail from Melbourne, Australia although originally from New Zealand.
I enjoy getting out and about and not being stuck inside all day so anything from the local coffee shop to traveling interstate I'm up for.
I have traveled a few places around the globe but currently have my sights set on my next big trip starting at the end of 2011 which will include Germany, Amsterdam and Sweden!
I've always wanted to go to Sweden and am looking forward to this life highlight.
I'm also using this site as a way to step outside my comfort zone and really explore other places and make new friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had any experience on here yet but I'm hoping to use this is a way of getting dropped into the deep end of other cultures and countries, I mean you're not going to have a eye opening time stuck in a hotel right?

Interests

I love live music, Pub scene, Rugby, Hiking, Camping, Motorbikes, Relaxing at the beach, I absolutely love eating and cooking food and pottering around in my garden. Meeting new people is always fun and interesting, I just love hearing the stories they have and the experiences they've had

Books - 1984 would have to be the best book I have ever read, hands down. Just never watch the movie!
Also, anything by Robin Hobb or John Wyndham would be my favourites.
