To meet interesting people and experience with them the beauty of the nature around. Whether it be sitting on the deck and grilling out watching the birds or taking pictures of waterfalls. I'm open for most anything make a suggestion.

ABOUT ME

About me...I like traveling, nature, gardening, reading...wow I sound a bit boring. I love film and animals. I like to experience life, live life, not merely exist. I love to meet new and interesting people. I enjoy cooking and being on or near the water. I'm an open book if you have a question feel free to ask.

PHILOSOPHY

Goodness that is a difficult one. I do love to study philosophy so I suppose I'm more Plato than Aristotle and I enjoy Nietzsche. Basically most decisions can be made by whether or not you would like it to be done to you. The classic "golden rule."

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hope to be a positive force in such a useful and interesting project. Often bad elements ruin good things for all. Together persons can insure that those using CS are safe and happy.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had the pleasure to host and be hosted. I have truly enjoyed all the fellow CSers I have met along the way.

Movies-The Pianist, The Jerk, Planes, Trains, and Automobles, The Big Lebowski, or any number of dark comedies. I do also enjoy a good documentary.

Books-I enjoy Neil Gaiman and for years read Steven King, John Jakes. I know read a variety of books and National Geographic.

Music-I have a huge collection of music beginning in the 50s. Mostly in the rock or folk genre.

I lived in China for a year and visited 18 or so countries to date. I've stayed with nomads in Mongolia and climbed The Great Wall. I hope to sky dive soon. Getting into snorkeling and want to get certified in scuba diving.
