Darko Jovičić, born in 1991, raised and currently working and based in Tuzla, Bosnia & Hercegovina.
Jovičić has a Bachelor deegre in Graphic Design from the Art Academy at the Slobomir P. Univeristy.
The pursuit for visual perfection and satisfaction started some 13 years ago when it all began with graffiti, letters, tags, street art and all sorts of artistic experimentation within the visual arts, which led him on to the next phase of exploring graphic mediums and incorporating his experiences from the streets and a hectic life to the pristine gallery walls which seem reinvigorated with his use of playful elements and various graphical ornaments, contours, lines and different techniques, paving their way from quite naive, bizzare and simple expressions on his surroundings to large canvases,exhibitions, murals and various commisions and festival work all the way around the Balkans and Europe. In his newer work a more noticable progression towards the contemporary is clearly seeping through the visual mediums into the real world, with the use of fresher more evolved, abstract visual and design like thinking, but retaining the childlike wonder and cheerful presence. He has exhibited extensively in various group shows across Bosnia & Hercegovina, Serbia, Croatia, rest of the Balkans, and some European shows, and has participated in residencies in Croatia and Bosnia. His vast mural and street work is included all over various domestic and foreing alleyways for the people of the world to enjoy and contemplate. His work has been featured in several online publications and is included in numerous local private collections.
