Overview
About Me
I work hard, play hard, feel well loved, and tend to collect epic life stories. I love to kayak, walk the woods with my dog, sculpt in alabaster, electronic parts, and origami, and prefer rich straightforward conversations with a few rather than partying with the masses.
I tend to leave every place a little better than I found it. Not because you expect it, but because it's my karma. :)
I've just last week finished purging all my unwanted things, put everything else in storage, packed up some clothes and my dog and headed to the coast of Texas. I'm going to spend the summer roaming beach towns up and down the coast, seeing what it feels like to be untethered for the first time in my life.
2017 update: I've been living on the road full time for almost two years now and I love it!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Teach, Learn, Share
I love to teach and talk about self reflection, and bringing out the best in others.
I tend to be one of those word geek gals that could sit with rapt attention at an adverb conference (but only if there were breaks for kite flying or kayaking!)
I'd love to learn from those who've learned to embrace their personal power, know how to shake off fears and embrace adventure, and those who have the patience to teach me anything interesting! I'm open!
