About Me

I just recently finished my study for a master degree in finance in Edinburgh, UK. I really enjoy photography, history, and stand up comedy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to hear another perspectives, sharing experiences, and learn about what people passionate about. Also, I am looking to learn more languages! Meetings with people from Couchsurfing have been a really great experience for me. As I got inspired by their travel experience and life stories.
I am also looking for any recommendations and suggestions from locals. I am feeling it will be more than just a travel whenever I met locals and like-minded people and share about the city.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy watching live music in general. I prefer to listening to a little bit of everthing, from rock, funk, jazz, etc. I always try to be open for any recommendations. In fact, some of my favourites are from recommendation of my friends or people I met. One of my favourite band is Oasis, and I am currently listening to music of L’Imperatrice from Paris, Men I Trust, Alvvays, Sunflower Bean, The Marias, etc.

I watch a lot of movies since I was a kid. In fact, I am quite good in remembering actors/actresses names. I hope it will be useful someday for a pub quiz ot a trivia.
Some of my favourites are Midnight in Paris, The Truman Show, The Adjustment Bureau, Pulp Fiction, Back to the Future and many more.
My all time favorite TV Series are The Office, Suits and Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

One of my favourite books is One More Thing (BJ Novak). What about you?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can’t pick one but maybe any of these: Kano-ing for the first time and managed to not flip in Alkmaar with a superb CS host, Merijn. Surviving the dissertation, Recall Michael Scott's line The Office, Plugging phone charger in the dark, and I also tried open mic for the first time in Edinburgh.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn and share about photography and languages. I played guitar long time ago and I was in a band.
I also like to hear people’s stories, as I believe everyone went through different journeys, and that’s what make each of us unique.
I believe, there is always things we can learn from people we met.

I’ll be happy to share experience about anything and give some recommendations to discover the city where I’ve been in to.
