ABOUT ME

I enjoy sleeping in a hammock, having some drinks with friends, traveling, trying to find the secrets of the world, making new friends, partying hard, chilling when I'm not, capturing things then setting them free, making people laugh, being tall, knowing a little something about just about everything in some way or another, finding out there was something that I did not know anything about and learning about it, reading of others adventures, a good story teller, a bad story teller, people that can relate, time alone, time together, talking, laughing, exploring, acting fearless and being scared.

PHILOSOPHY

You cant win them all. You will never know until you try and if you try hard enough you can do anything. Hard work can take you anywhere you want to go if you have the mental capacity to produce the quality of work that will propel you in the direction in which you are destined.

I surf and I host. I am ready to take on some new adventures.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Once went to VA and stayed on a tobacco farm. The room I stayed in used to be part of the underground railroad and the door was tiny. I rode a train to New Orleans and surfed with some amazing people. I had a clan of Belgians stay with me at my place on beautiful Fort Mtn. I hope to have many more experiences to add to the list soon.

Interests

Outdoors. Wine. Good times. Learning everything that I can before I die. Teaching what I know to someone that understands or at least has a desire to. Learning patience. Making up things to do that no one had thought of before just so I can hear them say "I wish I would have thought of that." Inventing, fabricating, and repairing things. Finding solutions to seemingly unsolvable problems. Doing things that others say can't be done. Reading body language. Judging people in secret just to find out how close I can come to the truth.

Music, Movies, and Books

Dave Matthews Band, old country, rock and roll, Bob Dylan's Last Thoughts on Woody Guthrie. Sling Blade is the best movie of all time. I really appreciate music and am somewhat of a multi-genre aficionado. Books about inventions. Books about traveling. Kerouac is probably my favorite author.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I won the national competition for power equipment technology, caught snakes all over the Southeast for cancer research, once won a singing contest, had the Welcome To Daytona sign fall on my face and knock me out, and many more amazing things. Just ask, I have a story for that.
