Loida and I do not smoke. Our home used to be a school house but has had some renovations for a home. We have one small guest bedroom and interior is not up to current modern appearances so it feels more like living in a cabin. We have wild life come through our yard at times. We have internet, electricity,, plumbing, and modern appliances . We also have an old wood cook stove in the kitchen. My wife, Loida, is from the Philippines and we have a family home there also. As a child my parents moved around a lot. Currently have a equipment operating business but would like to get more into a portable trade so we can travel more. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We get "cabin fever" and like to get out more. I enjoy meeting others from other countries and cultures. Saving up to get a RV or camper to do some road tripping soon. Who can have too many good friends??

Interests

Of course we like to travel when we can. I also like to go fishing, camping, exploring, hiking, back packing, and ,metal detecting. Enjoy hot tubs and hot springs as well. I prefer warm weather and sunshine. Interested in business and good food. Picnics and Barbecue's are fun when the weather allows. Also, enjoy canoeing, gold panning, and visiting Ghost towns. Sometimes I go bargain hunting at thrift stores and garage sales.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We have a private family camp site in the woods on the mountain nearby if you like to tent camp in the woods. Also, we have some spare tents if you do not bring one.
