I am into hardworking and hard play. I retired young and collect rent now. Big project here in progress in am spearheading. I have worked my whole life. On weekends, I sailed to Catalina or raced dirt bikes, man. Bikes, cars and triathlons in the old days. I qualified for the Olympic US Sailing Team Team many times.

My first job at six was catching rattlesnakes and making hat bands for sale. I moved on to owning furniture manufacturing company, pubs, BBQ trucks, and commercial property. I travel all summer and relax in Sayulita all winter.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have a nice place on beach and golf course just outside of madness of Sayulita. I am next to the Four Seasons Hotel. I have a beautiful condo and love cooking. I swim daily at beach and our pool. The gym is perfect here as well as yoga room. I might open my doors because my mom did the same. We lived in a big house in a nice area and she had Japanesses Exchange students live with us, I have two sisters in the USA and am an uncle. When I traveled with Team USA sailing, we met all kinds of people in Sailing community that needed places to sleep. It's a potential fit and a way of giving back.

Music, Movies, and Books

I always love classic rock, I live in Texas in Summer and found Country Music. I love reggae, Sublime channel on Pandora, huge fan of the Grateful Dead music, blues, jazz, classical. Rap and top 40 are not to my understanding yet. I am reading a book by Mark Levine now called Plunder and Deceit, I enjoy movies with subtitles now, and like the criminal and funny ones most.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed Dunns River Falls Drunk. Said no one sober has even done it!
Raced my dirt bike from Las Vegas To Reno Nevada in a day.
Qualified for US Sailing team and didn't even know it! We thought 5 th and went to get a rum!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have been coming to Sayulita/Pueto Vallarta area for over twenty years. I like being a tour guide. I can show the fish markets, art classes, privates beaches that no one goes to. I also know most business people and re stunt owners, so getting a table is nice and easy.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a fully loaded condo on the golf course and beach. I raced many motorcycles, so that my mode of transportation here. Think resort;pool, gym, cook, security. I have all one needs.
