ABOUT ME

I am a musician, I play folky bluegrass music.

My girlfriend and I have just moved to the UK (From Canada) while she continues here education in University, while here I am doing a lot of traveling through Europe playing music and meeting people.

I often have people stay at my home as they travel to Toronto on their musical adventures. Now I am trying out couch surfing to cut down on costs of my own tour.

I am an easy going, tattooed vegetarian.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I use this site quite a bit for days I dont have concerts, but through my music travels I have crashed on a lot of couches... and while I am in Toronto I have had lots of people crash on mine. Soon enough I am sure I will start having people stay at my new home in Cardiff Wales

Never had a bad experience, and made a lot of friends along the way. I really love the couch surfing experience, I am down to be a tourist if people want to show me around, but I travel so much I am also always down for a laid back hang out in whatever city or country I find myself in.

Interests

Music most of the time, that is how I do most of my travels.

I have tattooes. Love coffee and beer, art and photography.

I love meeting local people and seeing what they do, just hanging out with them and experiencing the city.

I take a lot of photos of the things I experience.

I live in Toronto, where we bike and party, and go to a lot of live shows.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all kinds of music... I prefer a lot of acoustic, folk, country, bluegrass stuff... but love a good indie rock show, or something a little heavier.... and wont turn down a night at a club.

I watch a lot of documentaries, but I never turn down a good comedy or dramatic type film.

Same goes for books, I like to learn some things while I travel, so I read a lot of biographies or books based on true stories or the state of the world. But a good fiction is nice to get lost in too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Im awestruck almost everywhere I visit, any time there is a beautiful view.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a good talker, listener and all around good guest. I like hanging out and learning from new people, and through my travels I have a lot of stories of my own to share. I dont mind giving a bit of info about Canada either ;)

I am almost always traveling with a banjo, so I can also be a part of a good jam... AND if I am in your city for a little concert, I would obviously invite my host to come check it out for free, maybe buy a pint for my gratitude.
