About Me
ABOUT ME
I travel to meet the people and see how they live, and I come from a family of 10, so I like things a little crazy and loud. I prefer a crowded Middle-Eastern bazaar to a perfect Mediterranean beach. Some of my best experiences have been at favorite local places, parks, or great conversations in cafes--even grocery shopping with locals! I really enjoy this type of traveling--to try to live my day like a local and learn about their habits, culture, and challenges. I will always meet the people instead of visiting the tourist spots!
Some of the things I'm good at: parallel parking, changing flat tires, carrying large numbers of foldable chairs at once.
Some of the things I'm terrible at: telling babies apart, growing a full beard, and understanding abstract art.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Whenever I travel to a place, it's never the sites I see that I remember. I remember adventures and stories and experiences I had with people I met, and the people on Couchsurfing are the best anywhere!
Interests
I enjoy traveling, obviously--especially places nobody thinks to go. I always have the best experiences in those places. I enjoy politics, sports, and board games. I'm not a great cook, but I also like trying new recipes I find abroad on my friends.
