I live in the gay Mecca that is San Francisco. Ironically I never knew how magical this city was until I left to explore the world. I joined CS back in 2007, when I first had an inkling of curiosity to travel. However after college I pursued graduate school to satisfy my grandeur altruistic delusions of social justice.

Three years ago I backpacked Europe for a few months and last year I embarked on a journey across South East Asia for six months. I've taken a 29 hour bus ride filled with sacks of rice, vegetables, chickens, and villagers from Vietnam to Laos to save $100 (it seemed like a good idea at the time).

I enjoy backpacking because it challenges my preconceived notions and forces me to confront my fears. I find that travelling is stressful and scary, like most things worthwhile in life tend to be.

Interessi

My guilty pleasure is food. Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Mexican, etc etc etc. My all-time-favorite-hangover-cure-any-day-of-the-week-food is Pho. I cook a lot and after traveling all over south east Asia and took cooking classes everywhere I' have a pretty diverse repertoire
