CURRENT MISSION : finding a spot to settle and work for a while, back home in NZ for now.. perhaps make some money, but a field and build a shed! Then, work to live an adventure ;) Maybe! Who knows - maybe it’ll be a holiday house in the field by the river, and I’ll end up living in a town working!! 😂😂😂

ABOUT ME I'm a relaxed person - and tend not to stress about too much... I'm from the country in NZ and identify with the outdoors most comfortably, although I've lived in Sydney, Australia since 2010...til 2016... Go figure!! Travelled since the end of 2016, for an extended period - which has been amazing! Now, we’ll, need to restock the coffers for the next adventure!!

I used to be a project lead for a telco company in NZ managing data network installations. Loved the technical aspect but the corporatepart was never fun :-( Massage and being self employed is way better! I play photographer with a Canon 6D and love combining the outdoors with the camera. I'm a sun-lover when ever it's shining, but cope better with the cold than high heat. Eg, I'm happy camping in winter. PHILOSOPHY Push my boundaries. Unlikely it'll kill me - so try it out. There isn't really a completely right or wrong option/answer, but there might be better ones; with wisdom, take the daring, FUN option - the risky option! Have a backup plan..! Always pack extra toilet paper.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've always hosted so far, and even that was a few years back. In Sydney, have met up and played tour guide (on foot, or scooter or car!)

But now I'm travelling so, maybe I should try being on the other end of the "couch"?!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In NZ, I've hosted plenty of folks and made great friendships with most of them!

In Sydney, I have helped a couple of chat-mates plan trips, offer advice, after listening to them of course!

Hosting is an amazing opportunity to make new friends along the way of hospitality...still friends now, years n years later!!
