I'm a graduate student in Physics, who is just out to get the most from life!

I'm currently finishing my Masters, and will be taking the next year or two off to work and travel and relax, before starting my PhD... Cause I figure, once you get into the PhD game, you're in for life. But there's so much other stuff to experience!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

Couchsurfing is an awesome way to meet people! Having co-hosted with roommates in the past, I know how awesome people can be that use this service, and I think its a way better way to get to know a city than staying in boring hotels. :-D

Interessen

Science, any type of sport involving the water (sailing!), partying, traveling, and ice cream! I also really like building home projects and things, and tend to do all my motorcycle maintenance as a result... (oh yeah, I love my motorcycle too ;-) )

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I went to the world championships for sailing (Optimists), in China, in 2001. It was a 4 week long regatta, with over 200 sailors, from all over the world (no more than 5 per country). They put us all up in this 5-star Holiday Inn, and it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life... even though my result totally sucked lol.

I can teach you why many things work the way they do! Not people though. Or anything alive, really. But like, inorganic stuff, sure.

As well, I can teach you sailing if you happen to have a boat and live on the water. :-D
