My lifestyle is seeing a philosophy in everything, beholding my type of beauty. I mostly enjoy thinking people and all the arts which contain some sense. Slow living lifestyle, sleeping 8-10 hrs a day are my basic needs.

My main life philosophy is the sea itself. Beholding the sea, sailing. I don't bathe in the sea, i just like to behold, better without the sun.

A newcomer yachtsman (bareboat skipper), a metalhead, a photographer (night city shots in traveling), metal gigs hobby filmer, a vocalist of an unknown band, a funeral doom concert promoter (Moscow only), a designer. These are my hobbies, something I live for. As for daily work I am a remote website content-manager.

Most of all I love: sea, night, metal music (especially doom metal & funeral doom metal), dark aesthetics, big dogs. I love to know why and what for I am doing something. Everything has a reason and a consequence. I can be adventurous and spontaneous (especially if I am with people close to me in their spirit) and thoughtful and silent sometimes. I love the beauty of the world and learn to find it in everything. I also like deserts and minimalistic landscapes (no matter if they cold or hot). I love the feeling like I am flying. I can get it while sailing, driving or even while looking out of my window, walking down the street or listening to my fav music. This is the taste of my life – with fire in my heart, sea in my eyes and favorable wind everywhere.

I like getting know different people and various cultures, because I learn myself and the world through them, though my whole life way is a one-man boat in general. I live mostly inside myself, and i really like being by myself, but contacts with new people (and old friends) give me new ideas, energy and new visions. Though I don’t need too many or too long (without being by myself for a long time) contacts.

My favorite places are not overcrowded, i like unique atmosphere of castles and ruins, better in dark evening / night time or sunrise / sunset. I like the fascination of small cities and towns and usually i avoid visiting capitals (if it's not necessary as a point on the route). I never liked too much noise.

Any sea is my place of power. Funeral doom metal is my music of power. So this is what I am.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I can see the world from inside with the eyes of different people. No luxurious hotel will give anything of this kind when a local friend shows to you his favorite places in his city.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Following my dreams. Always:
• Traveling spontaneously (or not) with new friends to the places I've never could imagine I'd have the chance to visit (The White Sea, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan).
• Going to the gigs of my favorite bands (Desire, Ajattara, Tyranny) hundreds & thousands km away.
• Studying yachting (night hours by yacht with no GPS nor chart plotter, only compass bearings in the moonlit sea).
• Creating my world of my dreams everyday.

My life is amazing from my very childhood when I spent some days with my father on a military ship. Since then I’m in love with sea, ships and the North. But I'm fasciated by southern cultures as well.
