They call me Darry. I'm an IT Engineer, singer and guitarist in a rock band and an easy going guy... They say I'm funny, kind, corious and open minded, but I'd like to say about myself that I'm just a good guy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel and I love Couchsurfing spirit so is there a better place to be than this? ;)

For me, travelling is about knowing different cultures, ways of life and thinking, foods and smells and people. CS brings me the opportunity to do that not like a tourist but as curious traveller.

I've been a CS guest in USA, Australia (3 times), Japan (3 times) and meet many interesting and lovely people from everywhere during my travel around the world some years ago.

I've been hosting several people at my place from different countries and I'd like to continue helping people to visit my beautiful and mediterranean city in the south coast of Catalonia.

Interests

To live happy and make the the people I love happy.
Also I like to learn, play, discover, travel, laugh and have fun.
Music and playing guitar and singing in a band is something that I enjoy a lot.

Music? I like rock, stoner, garage, blues, funk, jazz, techno... Oh my good, I think there's not enough space here to talk about all the music I like... ;)

And I'm afraid the same goes for movies and books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a 'round the world trip during almost one year across 13 countries with my former partner (thank you for that dream, Eli), travelling from Spain going west and coming back from the east (the whole round to planet Earth in the same trip).

What I Can Share with Hosts

Conversation, company, maybe some laughs, maybe some exchange of travelling experiences... Whatever!
Except cooking... I have to say I'm a horrible kitchener. Maybe some typical catalan sandwich with "pa amb tomaca"... ;)
