Overview
About Me
I'm a technical professional and event-promoter/DJ from Vancouver, BC. I'm a part of a collective called SHAHdjs who bring the joy of Drum and Bass music to our loving community in Vancouver. I speak well, have my life in order, and have an utmost respect for people. I'm a straight talker - no posing, posturing or nonsense. I like everything Drum and Bass, and love a good party - but I don't get too crazy, and take care of myself. I prefer sour beers, red wine, and fine foods.
When couch surfing, I would absolutely love to contribute food and snacks and beer/wine to a household that would be kind enough to put me up - that's a win-win. It's also cool to meet new people and get the local take on what's worth doing/seeing. No need to spend any particular amount of time together - that is, I won't need "hand holding" - so no worries there. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Planning an upcoming trip to Europe, and hoping there are some awesome, like-minded people who might host me and help point the way to local delights/treasures.

Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to keep your computer safe and secure, play Magic The Gathering, some things about DJing, and where to hear some great DnB artists.
I would like to learn about great craft beers, fine foods, and underground spaces filled with good people.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am very happy to provide/share food and drink with my host. It seems appropriate to help keep their place filled with tasty treats and lovely libations during my stay. Win-win!
Also, if there are bedding items needed, I could provide that too - like going to a store and purchasing an Air Mattress to use that the host may keep when I'm gone. Pillows, too, if that makes sense.
Basically, it makes sense to provide value that costs me less than hotels (how I win), and gives the host some infrastructure and/or delicious consumables (how they win). In this way, I can pay less than a hotel, and the host gets more than just good company (which they will Also get). I hope that makes sense. :)
I'm open to discussing this kinda stuff before a Host agrees to host. I want this to work out best for everyone.
