About Me

--- Update Dec 2022 --

What a crazy past few years it has been, eh? Currently unable to host while living here in Mexico, but very happy to hang out and show you around!

--------------------------------------------

Hello! I'm a book nerd and avid traveler.

Currently, I work in digital marketing. I run a small advertising agency, where we provide Facebook advertising services to small businesses.

I'm married to a Swiss national and speak a decent amount of German. I enjoy food, and I am terrible at writing 'About Me' sections.

I used to be a brass musician (tuba) and now I teach more than I play (if I ever get the chance to do either)

I'm also really tall (190 CM/ 6'3") I don't know how that makes a difference, but I thought I'd share.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Through an activity called drum corps, I managed to meet a ton of people from all over the US, and even the world. Combined with that I met a large amount of people in that space through blogging. I am here because I realize how amazing it is to always have a couch to crash on, no matter where you may go.

I hope to provide a place to stay. and others do the same to me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I'm pretty open. I come from a band background so instrumental music is very nice, but I tend to lean towards hip hop.

Movies: Too many to think of but off the top of my head Jurassic Park and Interstellar are some favorites.

Books: I LOVE self-help, biz dev, personal development, etc. Books totally changed my life. Four Hour Work Week is for sure a new favorite. I dont read fiction so much anymore but I absolutely loved The Fault In Our Stars. I myself am a cancer survivor, and while the story already was very intense, I definitely had an extra connnection to it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Beat Cancer!
