Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Just looking to find a place in Toronto while I take a course!
ABOUT ME
Passionate. Loyal. Integrity. Once I believe in something, I give it everything I've got. Most people, including complete strangers, always tell me that I should be a teacher. I'm looking into it.
PHILOSOPHY
If you really want something, the universe will conspire to give it to you. - The Alchemist
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm a temporary traveller (although, aren't we all?) ;) Originally I thought this was just about finding a place to stay. But in browsing I see it's also a great way to meet new people. I'll be coming to Toronto for courses and so having a place to stay and people to meet up with after class is nice, but I don't need to be baby sat. Having lived abroad I'm ok if I need to explore on my own.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've surfed once in Toronto for 3 days - and so far so good!
Interests
I love a good story, fact or fiction. There's so much to learn from narrative. I like being around passionate people who can talk beyond the surface of things and captivate me with their interests and travels.
- scuba diving
- rock climbing
- teaching
Music, Movies, and Books
Obviously I love the book The Alchemist. I'm a big Liam Neeson fan and music is a really big part of the little things I enjoy.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbing Mt. Fuji was definitely an experience. It was tougher than I thought, and took a lot out of me physically, but I'm proud that I can say I climbed it. Scuba-diving off a tiny Island near Fiji with sharks underneath was also a rush, and rappelling down a cenote in Mexico. I guess you can say I love exploring nature's wonders!
Countries I’ve Visited
Fiji, Indonesia, Mexico, Romania, United Kingdom, United States
