ABOUT ME

Hey... I am from the east cost of Canada but have lived in Mexico City for 8 years... I quit my job at Santander Bank in July 2011 to travel in South America... I started with doing a Divemaster course in Taganga, Colombia.  Since I have traveled in Colombia, Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname, French Guiana and now Brazil.  I plan to visit all countries in South America on this trip.In my other non-travel life I am a Finance Director, most recently in banking.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just heard about CS... hoping to use it while I travel in South America and then offer my couch when back in Mexico.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am just starting to use CS... I have met a lot of people on the road who are already CS... hope to use CS to the max and then offer a couch when I get home.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hitchhiked a flight from the Island Los Roques in Venezuela back to Caracas.  Pretty amazing experience to be in a paradise like Los Roques and be in a small plane where you get a 360 degree view.  I also climbed Mt Ronaima on the Venezuela, Brazil, Guyana border... pretty cool.
