I am an Astrophysics PhD student living in Munich for the past two years. I am more of an outdoor person and love to spend my weekends hiking and climbing outdoors. Currently I am on a mission to conquer all the mountain peaks in and around Bavaria.

For the spirit of adventure, I have hiked in India, South Germany, Chile and Italy. Recently I have come to like Skiing too.

On a day with bad weather, I love to explore cafes and bars. I am enthusiastic about trying out different kinds of tea, beers and wines. Not much of a coffee lover though. Enjoy reading while on the road. Natgeo is my favourite companion when I travel. And I am always in for new experiences in life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been lucky enough to get to travel due to my job. As is the case with most people, I love travelling and experiencing new culture. But this is not always possible by being a regular tourist. I would like to meet locals and learn about the place or experience it from their point of view. And being an extrovert, I like meeting up with new people :)
