About Me

I'm a Chilean eighteen year-old boy. Who has been years waiting to be able to create an account here. I am a student of Geography at the University of Chile, so I'm pretty interested on culture from all over the world, as well as languages, geomorphologics, climate, etc.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I would like to improve my spoken English skills and I'd like to get some friends from all over the world, hopefully through direct contact with them. I can offer myself as your tour guide (obviously for free) by Santiago de Chile, while we have a nice conversation in Spanish or English.
Also, this contact with different cultures could help me as a potential Geographer (the career that I am currently studing, I am in second year though). I would also like to join to groups to practice languages, it doesn't matter if it's a whatsapp group or a face to face conversation.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite band is Foo Fighters so far, but I also like some others such as Linkin Park, Incubus, Metallica, etcetera. I obviously listen music in Spanish as well, I like both rock and reggaeton (actually old reggaeton, I dislike now-a-days' one).
I am not such a big fan of movies, but I like Pixar's ones.
And my favorite book is El Socio by Jenaro Prieto, a Chilean book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being a volunteer in the Day of the Patrimony and working at the census.
