Overview
About Me
I'm Darwin, 24 years old, living and working as a freelance photographer and choreographer in wonderful Berlin.
After my A-Levels in 2011 I decided to move to London asap. I got an offer for a foundation course in Graphic Design at UAL in spring '12, when I was back then visiting a friend in Paris. After an outstanding beautiful year in Englands capital with an incredible year of studies, projects, creativity and interesting people from all over the world, I moved to Berlin in 2013 to proceed with my art and design on communication design (BA) course. From 2015-16 I lived in Istanbul, Turkey for a year, studying photography. I started learning Turkish and I'm quite alright holding a conversation in it now. The cultural exchange was very enriching and I can't wsit to get to know other cultures.
After visting NYC for a month in 2015 I would love to experience more of the US.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm into meeting new interesting people, connect, communicate and learn. It's incredible what energy develops in people's minds when they experience a city for the very first time, see everything for the first time, nearly unfiltered - there's a whole magic about that I believe. Sharing mindsets, languages, travel experiences and good times with other "global" minded people is just priceless.
Interests
Since the age of ten I'm a dancer. Besides visual work including photography and illustration, I'm into music, art, museums, languages, theatre & travelling.

Currently I really like Biffy Clyro's Only Revolutions Album. Two of my fav. movies might be Mustang and Clockwork Orange.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travelled to NYC in 2015 and had a magic month reconnecting with a friend from Ankara, who was so kind to host me. She also taught me basic Turkish, which inspired me to move to Turkey.
