Among many other things I am a social and cultural anthropologist, so basically I get around and meet all kinds of people and their stories, their lifeworlds. But I not only love to listen to stories, I also love to tell stories, either in oral form - there is almost no greater pleasure than having a great conversation - or in written form, I write short stories, or the ultimative goal. I've been working in various TV and film productions, but also for a capital asset manager; my grandparents are a physicist and a biologist and I also share their love for natural science, but am deeply rooted in humanities...to cut a long story short, I have a passion for people and life in general.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

CURRENT MISSION

Field research in China -> completed! And Couchsurfing helped me a huge deal with my research! I interviewed people from all over the world who were coming to China and were living there. I had conversations with students, English teachers, expats and entrepeneurs and all of them shared amazing stories and their perspectives on life in China.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first CouchSurfing Experience was while filming a documentary film across Eastern Europe and I instantly liked the way one could connect to the life worlds of other people and exchange stories.
