Hey friends! I am a graduate student in anthropology currently living in Memphis, TN. My particular area of interest is health care access in Uganda, but I have also worked under anthropologists working on food security and urban green spaces in Memphis, and soon (July 2016) I will be traveling to Honduras to work on a conservation project. I love to be outdoors- hiking, biking, swimming, or even just sitting on my deck! I am a social butterfly and love meeting new people and hearing their stories. When I visit new places I love to spend the whole day exploring and getting to know the locals! I'm all about long-term stays in a place, and though of course there are some things every new visitor to a place should check out, I try to avoid tourist hangouts at all cost!

My roommates and I will be opening our place up to Couchsurfers soon enough, so we'd love to host you sometime in the future!

I love getting to meet new people when I'm in a city by myself - traveling is always better with other people! Couchsurfing gives me the opportunity to meet new people and learn about their lives and experiences.

On the flip side, I've been able to experience some really wonderful hospitality during my travels and know what a big difference that makes in your experience (and mood!). So, I'd love to be able to show people my city and learn from them as well!
