ABOUT ME

Good friends call me D. I'm 26 and originally from upstate New York. I was most recently living in Jamaica as a Peace Corps Volunteer but am now living in New Orleans looking for non-profit work. I graduated with a degree in Environmental Studies and Cultural Anthropology. I am friendly, laid back and enjoy meeting new people, traveling and live music.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I first moved to NOLA I didn't have an apartment, a car or even anyone to crash with. I couchsurfed for 2 days with an awesome Engineer here, who went above and beyond all couch surfing duties to not only offer me a place to stay while I searched for an apartment, but also drove me around helping me get my electricity turned on, sign leases, etc. I am now wanting to return the favor by opening up my humble pad to travellers/people moving here.
