Born and bred in 'The Greatest Wee Country in the World', i.e. Scotland. Did a good bit of travelling over the past few summers. Now living in Edinburgh and travelling all over the UK for work.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Every time I hang out with a local, I learn something that I had never even imagined might exist before. I'm on Couchsurfing to make travel more meaningful for myself and those I host or am hosted by.

Interests

Football, skiing, scuba diving (divemaster), freediving, muay thai, lifting things and then putting them back down, golf, any sport with a ball, any extreme sport, magic, science, languages, making stuff, comedy, music, playing air guitar, cooking, fidgeting.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I'm a huge fan of comedy music such as Bo Burnham and Tim Minchin. I like to listen to everything from Elton John to Eminem.

Movies: Mostly watch comedies. Not-as-funny favorites include Shawshank Redemption, Untouchables and The Prestige.

Books: Anything that makes me laugh or teaches me something.

Climbed Mount Rinjani with no trousers.
