Overview
About Me
I'm a recent graduate, having studied Resource and Environmental Management and Urban Planning as well as GIS, Sustainable Development, and Indigenous Studies.
I am looking to explore the world before setting out to do my Master's. :)
Some of my areas of interest are: environment, language, history, food, Indigenous cultures, ecology, and anthropology.
One of my favourite things to do is to open myself to new perspectives and experiences by meeting new people from all walks of life. I love being out and about in nature, but I'm definitely intrigued by city life as well.
I've travelled alone through Canada and the United States, but it will be my first time coming to Europe. I can't wait!
I made my account recently so I apologize if I'm lacking information/references. Don't hesitate to ask for my Instagram or something and feel free to ask as many questions as you need to feel comfortable :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to meet and make meaningful connections with locals as well as with fellow travellers.
I enjoy a balance of spending time both with company and alone, which makes Couchsurfing very appealing to me.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love ALL sorts of music, especially music in different languages. I've been into Turkish pop and Soviet post-punk lately. :p
Anything from rock, indie, pop punk, post punk, blues, country, afrobeats, alternative, rap, jazz, piano, cello.... I have many friends that are musicians, and I love exploring the music scene (especially underground) wherever I go. :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
– I swam among the sea turtles and beautiful tropical fish in Maui, Hawaii
– Spent a month alone in NYC during the wintertime (and nearly froze my hands off bouldering in central park!)
– Flew to Haida Gwaii the morning after my university graduation. I knew no one there, but made plenty of connections in the month that I spent there. :) I tried incredible cultural foods.
– Watched a pod of 6 orca whales repeatedly breach the water off the Canadian West Coast... while rock climbing!
Teach, Learn, Share
I love talking about self-help/self-improvement, harm reduction, as well as meditation and working out/hiking. I'm also interested in environmental sciences and food systems... and of course, travel and different cultures.
Would love to meet people that share these interests, and are perhaps more experienced than I am and can share some tips or advice. :)
I'm always down for deep conversations about pretty much anything.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach you some Russian/French words or phrases.
If interested, can provide tips on cheap + sustainable living. A lot of people have asked me about thrifting!
I'm always down to talk about music, animals, travelling, or environment!
I've got funny stories to share.
