Overview
About Me
Hello! My name is Dasha, I am student from Moscow. I am studying journalism and writing my diploma (OMG) right now. I am also interested in new technologies, precisely in virtual and augmented reality. I used to have an exchange semester in Germany and since that time I understood that the only way to know a new country is to communicate with the locals. So I am amazed about travelling and opening the World.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I adore communicating with people from other countries and exploring their culture and mentality. I have several friends from all over the world but I want to extend this number. And also I'd like to change the opinion that Russians are not kind or friendly. We do! Of course, if it is not a rush hour in Moscow underground... :D
Interests
Each break I try to plan a trip, even a small one somewhere in my district. I want to travel as much as possible and explore the world. I also adore dancing and singing, having fun in a good company. Theatre is my another passion. I do love both watching and playing ieaces. And of course, good books and films will never let you stay alone ;)

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy Imagine Dragons, Florence and the Machine, Muse but also sometimes can hear Russian classical music like Chaikovsky or Rachmaninov.
According to the books, I really love reading. I read Russian and foreign classics, I'm also interested in the latest books. The last one that impressed me is Fountainhead by Ayn Rand.
Maybe it's not serious but my favorite movies are Harry Potter and The Lord of the rings. I used to be the fan from 11 and now a little has changed :D
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've made a trip through the whole country after being only one week in Germany to visit my friend. There were several stops and transport changes during the way. At the last stop I could not find the other railway station and asked an old man to help me. He was so surprised to see a young Russian girl alone late at night in their village that even made a selfie to show it his wife.
Teach, Learn, Share
I think I can share a lot of funny stories and tell about Russian culture, from songs to dancing. It will always be a great pleasure to study anything new abotu other countries. I can also teach you how to cook bliny and borsch (Russian yummies).
What I Can Share with Hosts
Cool souvenirs and yummies and of course a lot of funny stories from my travel experience. I always will be glad to host you in my country ;)
