Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to learn, to stay creative, to be present with every experience, to educate, to build a community
ABOUT ME
I....
For the longest time I used to sell apples at the farmer's market for an organic farm from Northern California. Selling fruits to people is a very tangible, real experience that has taught me a lot about life.
Currently I am a full time student at UC Berkeley designing my own major with focus on Political Science, Urban Studies, LGBTQ Studies and History, performer, and house manager at several little theaters in San Francisco.
I am a great listener and love conversations full of depth and spices.
Doing and teaching dance and movement is my passion and I consider it to be a form of activism. I feel deeply affected and sometimes hurt by what is happening in the world now. Thus, I am building my life, my academic work and my art toward uniting people and communities - as the only way we can survive. I like to teach, help, communicate, organize... I often switch roles from the one who guides to the one who is being guided.
I read a lot and sometimes write stories and poems on scraps of paper.
I like watching weeds moving on the wind, and see flower petals veins, and study little bugs movement.
PHILOSOPHY
breathe, don't judge, love, don't rush things, be present, embrace your feelings
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I share and stay open. I don't have a couch but people stayed in sleeping bags on my floor before, and strangers shared a meal or cup of tea with me. I never turn away when asked for help.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I hitch-hiked in Russia all summers and a bit in USA and made a lot of awesome friends - it was sort of couch-surfing or sometimes tent surfing experience. So many interesting people out there! I have met wonderful people through couchsurfing in New Orleans, Kauai, Berlin, Moscow ...CouchSurfing makes the whole world feel like a welcoming village...
