About Me

Hello everyone! I`m a journalist and social activist from Ukraine. I like to be a journalist because of everyday challenges. One day I can be in a bread factory asking an owner about types of wheat, another - taking part in a pagans ritual to wrote a good article for a newspaper.

Currently, I`m spending a lot of my time for studying, but in free time I always ready to help friends in organizing some social or charitable events. In the past, I was organizing a club of movies for one year, some festivals, and speed-dating.

I have not a lot of references because I used to travel with international projects and visiting my friends. Still, I`m starting to use Couchsurfing more active. Hope to meet new cool people ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had inspired by people who use CS. They are interesting and can help open the world to others.
I like to hang out with foreigners who are visiting Lviv and meet new friends during my trips abroad.

Music, Movies, and Books

It`s always different. How can I describe in a few words my books? One time it is a book written by a leading English neurosurgeon Henry Marsh. Another - a non-fiction book 'Why Nations Fail: The Origins of Power, Prosperity, and Poverty'. I like to read stuff that can make my mind wider. about the economy, international politics or just interesting and deep human stories.

I read "Games People Play: The Psychology of Human Relationships" by psychiatrist Eric Berne, some books about Arab Spring, novels written by Daniel Keyes - "Flowers for Algernon" and " The Minds of Billy Milligan" etc.

For music and movies I think the same) Ukrainian, French, English and Polish songs are always in my play-list.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- A parachute jump from an airplane;
- One month life in mountains;
- The northern lights in Finland.

I can teach how to dance a waltz, a polonaise or Ukrainian dances; how to cook Ukrainian food - especially with cottage cheese; how to make theatre at home or how to find any information you need.
