I am a graduate student from Korea, studying Data Science. Recently, I've been fortunate enough to travel abroad to present my work at different conferences. I can be a bit shy, but I'm always open to new experiences and meeting new people. I enjoy working out, staying active, and recently started climbing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I visited Vancouver and Seattle for the first time this year, I was inspired by the diverse cultures and open-minded people I met. Having lived my entire life in Korea, where there is relatively little racial diversity, I realized my perspective of the world was quite narrow. I want to share and gain diverse experiences and broaden my view of the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have three different majors! I started with Japanese Language in my undergrad, then added Physical Education as a double major. Now, I'm diving into Data Science for my graduate studies and sharpening my coding skills.
