ABOUT ME

Hello there traveler,

My name is Mikko. I am spontaneous and could be somewhat described as an open minded world citizen. I like speaking English and I am internationally social and enjoy meeting new interesting people. Usually I like more strange, obscure and mystic things than everyday ordinary things. But I also believe that the everyday ordinary things can hold behind an interesting chain of events that we don´t commonly come to consider. I am up for adventure and traveling. Some say I am down to earth, some would never believe it.

I have a masters degree in computer science, my major was in interactive technology. Currently I am unemployed, so you can also tell me about job opportunities in your country :D

I like listening to music, all genres. My basic genre though is metal and it´s all sub-genres. I especially like to accommodate other metal and music people and more experienced travelers, but all are welcome! I usually accommodate most of people who dare to ask, depending of course of that if I am home or not.

I am happy to show around my city (Tampere), but I enjoy more of the nature points than looking through shop windows. So in the right time of the year and in good weather, I would be happy to go for a walk in the forests also. I also like to introduce travelers to Finnish sauna!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am willing to meet new people and accommodate them on their adventures. Also I find couchsurfing great on my own adventures to find local people with similar mind sets.

For hosting I would appreciate the following things:

* 1. If something is agreed I want to know about possible changes in plans. There can´t be too much communication.

* 2. I would prefer guests with references and friends (like probably every host) but if you are new to this system you are also welcome! just use more consideration. I appreciate Intelligence.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have recently mostly accommodated people and showed them around Tampere sights and sounds. I have had quite many travelers staying here so I would call myself an experienced host.

Someday, when I get things more stabilized, I will also begin my own traveling and surfing and continue my own adventures! Until then , bring the adventures here!

Interests

I like music, mostly listening, trough the various genres. I know what is good that I like, though mostly I find myself listening to more heavy and metal stuff. I also like to paint and draw.
