About Me

CURRENT MISSION

It's simple: Get out in the world and explore every corner of it AND get a good education!!!

ABOUT ME

OK, here we go!

I grow up like most other swedes: in a small town with lots of volvos and a huge garden that is ;) But at the age of 8 and a half years, me and my familiy moved away, not to a town nearby, but to another small village in southern Germany, that was queit an experience for us that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. We lived there for three years and after that we turned back to the same small village in Sweden again. I finished my school in Sweden and started my college studies, and surprise, surprise I studied the german language. Well, after half a year at College it was time for me to do my patriotic services to the swedish king and country. I did this for one year (2006) as a "submarine hunter" in the navy. Sounds more exciting than it was, trust me. On good thing with this Military duty was, that i got to see England, both southern and northern, when we travelled with our corvettes (boots) around the great brittish island. This year made me see exciting opportunities for travelling, and my brother also tells me a great deal of travel experiences that he has seen and learned from, after his year in China and Thailand. Well, now I am back at College finishing my first year of German studies in a program where the next step will be one year dedicated to Politics, looking forward to it already! I hope I'll see you arround someday!

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy can't be expressed very well in words but its something like this:
Live the life like YOU think its best to be lived, if you like to work hard, you will lose much time that you otherwise could spend with friends, family or partner. Work hard only if you think its worth it and you still have time to breath and live life! Otherwise you might regret trying to earn so much money that when you get old, the only thing you lived for was getting more power or money, or whatever... Don not set up any goals if you don't think you will have fun during the path to get there...
I hope you get the point? Well.. if not mail me and I will try to explain it better :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I only participate right now with having an account here, someday maybe I will participate more, who knows?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Done it five times now, in Buffalo, Waterloo, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal it's kind of crazy but I love the way people trust each other and I really enjoy talking to the couchsurfers! It's the real way of traveling!

Interests

Many, well, right now I mostly hang arround on the computer, not because its much fun playing games and so, but there is absolutely nothing else you can do here, in the winter at least, (cold and rainy)!
But I work out in the gym often, i play golf, tabletennis, tennis. I read some and hang out with friends. That is about it... Surely there is more, but i can't think of anything right now.

Music, Movies, and Books

Lord of the Rings, Gladiator, 24 (Jack Bauer), Bourne Identity, Bourne Supremacy, Catch me if you can... and more...
Music? Everything!
Books? almost everything, I like fantasy but also Crime books and history books...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

If I have to choose one...Practise firefighting inside a danish ship, unbeliavble exciting, scary and fun at the same time... I will never forget it: they rigged the whole ship so well, heat, smoke and people lying arround screaming for help... Amazing!
But what if it would have been for real?
