Hello people !

My name name is Daurélia, (It sounds like an atypical name, even in french), I am 21 years old, and I come from south of France !

Since I've started to study, I live in Montpellier where I'm learning CG animation and VFX. I have the chance to study not so far from my parent's town, two lovely people who always have been a support to me !

I am totally passionated by my studies, I could speak about that during hours, and It is a real pleasure to me to explain in details the job of CG artists to people who doesn't know nothing about that.

I think I can qualify myself as a kind, a respectuful, and a friendly person. I am curious of everything, and got a lot of listening skills ! Most of all, you can speak with me of everything, I am very open-minded, and I assign importance to this value.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Firstly, because I am going to Stockholm, Sweden, this summer to do an internship of two months for my studies.
I am currently searching for a place to live, of course, I am not expecting anyone to receive me during two months for free as the politic of couchsurfing says, but if by any chance you have some plan or tips to tell me, in order to help me finding an accomodation, feel free to contact me, I would be very grateful !
Also, I think couchsurfing is a great way of meeting people who are already there !
I've never been to Sweden before, I know nothing about Stockholm, and I look forward to meet, and speak with people who will be able to tell me their point of vue about the town, their experiences, the culture, well, everything !

Secondly, my future job will allow me to travel a lot, all around the world.
Therefore, I think counchsurfing is a fantastic solution to meet people wherever I wll go, in order to discover every countries, cities, from the inside !
Futhermore, It is very important to me to discover people and share with us, it takes an entire part of the experience, and make it even more fantastic!

Interests

I've been dancing for over14 years.
Unfortunately, I had to stop for the past two years, because my studies take the entire part of my time, and I had to focus on it. I missing it a lot !
I've learned a lot of dance types, such as Classic style, Jazz, Modern, Street-jazz, a bit of Hip-hop and Pôle Dance.
I would absolutely love to lear Salsa!

I can also play the piano, I've learnt it during almost 12 years in conservatory ! I decided to stop in order to change a bit of register, and not always play some Chopin, Bach, or Beethoven stuff. (No offences, I absolutely love Chopin's music!) But same reason as before, I unfortunately haven't much time to practice it now...

I also love video games. All differents type ! During about 10 years I've played World of Warcraft (Blood elf hunter, for the experts!)
I could speak of this during hourse, I'm not going to start :D I'm playing League of Legends too.

Well, I love travelling as well and it is an essential point on my ambition. I've visited London (I absolutely love this city), Berlin, Barcelona, Roma, and Venice.
All of these travels where amazing !

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to everything. Like, really.
But I can quote a few band or singer to give you a general idea among the most known : Aerosmith, Artics Monkeys, Avenged Sevenfold, Coldplay, Daftpunk, Dream Theater, Ed Sheeran, Chopin, Eminem, The Glitch Mob, M83, Keane, Muse, Pink, Scorpions, Snow Patrol, Gary Moore... Okay I'll stop that, it's getting a too long list. We will maybe have the occasion to discuss about that !

I love all types of movies, and I'm afraid I'm not going to be very original if I quote Lord of the Ring as my favourite saga of all the time.
I can quote a few movies that I love and I can only recommand : Big Fish, The Butler, Pear Harbor, Mr. Nobody, The Theory of Everything, The Prestige, About Time, Kingsman, Meet Joe Black...

What I Can Share with Hosts
