ABOUT ME

Some would say I'm a great fun to be with, or some think I'm their sweetest nightmare. Besides those mutant genes that make my pinkies crooked and fallible sense of humor, I inherited warm hospitality from Mum and deceiving shyness from Dad. I talk in random MOST of the time and you may find my trains of thoughts derailed. Not a problem, smile confusingly and I'll be back!

I chase sunset I bathe sunrise.

I put pepper in everything.

I was born with an extra "happy" chromosome so that's how I feel most of the time. Or is it in the milk? I don't know.

I have a Master degree in Advanced Sarcasm. It's also my coping mechanism, so if you find me in sarcastic mode, I'm either scared or having fun. Or I could just like you.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I don't have a couch or a room to share but I am more than happy to show you all my favorite places of Hanoi, from jellyfish salad to local talents' shows.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

-surfed 2 places in Sri Lanka, one with a generous family and one with a multi-scientist. My friend and I met another 2 CSers and 5 of us travelled for 3 days. Good time good time.
-met CSers along the way during my travels. Once I talked to a German girl on the train from Agra to Delhi and we both complained about the Pakistan visa policy.

Movies: anything that is provoking, motivational, moving, philosophical, mind-numbing action, sarcastic, witty, beautiful crafted. Christopher Nolan trademark, Tina Fey being the scripwriter, Tom Hanks/Matt Damon/Denzel Washington/Jeremy Renner being the actors.

Music: I move around genres. The type of music I listen to longest is melodic death. Absolutely love Insomnium, Katatonia, Anathema and Savatage. Post-rock. Newly discovered music includes: Lucia, Lana Del Rey, Iyeoka, Hungry Ghosts, Tango with Lions, Olafur Arnalds, Balmorhea, etc. Simply stunning music. Or the kind of music you stare to the ceiling to, or it reminds you of him/her, or musics that see you break into a kaleidoscope made of rainbows and velvety nights.

Books: Also all over the shelves. From guidebook (I prefer Fodor's to Lonely Planet) to Oxford Dictionary to Harry Potter. Right now I'm following Ken Follet.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

-I asked an Internet shop owner to let me spend the night because Siem Reap was fully booked that night. Instead just a few chairs, she showed me to her sister's room. I guess that was my first unofficial couch-surfing experience.
-had 1 full day traveling and breathing the thin air of Himalayan valleys at above 16,000 ft altitude (around 5,000m).
