ABOUT ME

I'm a doctor from Belgium, completing my residency in surgery at the moment in Santiago, and trying to keep as much time as possible for travelling. I just completed a one year and 50.000 kms expedition from Chile to Canada on my motorbike. I loved Chile so much that I decided to come back, and I’m now working for a year in the clínica Santa Maria, in Santiago 🇨🇱. If you want me to share what I love about this city with you, just ask, come and stay ☺️!

I am a very adventure driven person, always eager to get surrounded by like minded people, to jump into the next crazy adventure and to find new ways to get out of my comfort zone! I started to travel when I was around sixteen, and kept moving whenever I got a chance since then. I think hosting people makes me travel right from home. I've met dozens of people who made my trips memorable, and I want to be just like them, contributing to the success of my guests' travels as many strangers did for me...

What else can I say? I love travels, sports, music, sharing experiences, meeting new people from all over the world, enjoying a good belgian beer on a terrace in the summer...

I think I'm an open minded, enthusiastic, outgoing person...but come and find out yourself!

By hosting and being hosted, by showing people around my city and hopefully making their trip as memorable as possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted about 60 people so far, and have been hosted, too, in India, New York, Beijing, Prague, Berlin, Krakow, Rome, Bogota, Cusco, Buenos Aires, Moab... It's all been amazing!

Sports (especially basketball), swimming, skiing, photography, traveling, reading, live music bars, scuba diving, going out, skydiving, and hosting people from everywhere!

- Being sick with malaria in the middle of nowhere in Africa
