ABOUT ME

I like to build stuff! I build art and furniture out of recycled materials. I've built houses and rehabbed them with my friends. I build music, records and live shows with my group The Grea Tones. I'm part of the 10 person construction crew that builds the St. Louis City Museum (www.citymuseum.org). Every now and then when the weather is right I like to build a dinner with a BBQ grill. I'm pretty good at building a party out of a bottle of whisky and a glass of beer. Hopefully I can build a few friendships with people from other places.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to travel, but I don't get to do it as much as I'd like to. However, the next best thing to traveling is hosting travelers. It's like bringing the world to you. If you happen to be passing through St. Louis, Missouri feel free to crash on one of the couches. Hopefully, when I'm passing through your town you'll let me do the same.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started traveling around the states when I was about 16 or 17. We took road trips, hitchhiked, and hoped a freight train now and then. A few years ago my ex-girlfriend and I used couchsurfing.com to travel from Budapest to Dublin after we finished living and working in France. However, when we split up she got our coughsurfing.com account. So this is my new account. I'm want to get back in touch with all the great people I stayed with in Europe and meet more great people in the trip I'm about to take to the Middle East.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've spent the last 2 1/2 years working on the 10 person crew that builds the City Museum in St. Louis, Missouri. I would try to explain what we build there but I honestly don't know how to put the place into words. If you can't make it to St. Louis, check it out at www.citymuseum.org, but pictures don't really do it any justice. All I can say is that if you haven't been there, you have to go. I guarantee that you have never seen anything like it before in your entire life. It's one of a kind.
