Overview
About Me
In 2011, my wife and I went to Peru, abandoned all of our comforts, and spent two months in a town without any English speakers. I learned an incredible amount of Spanish and made some fantastic friends from that volunteer trip; it is still impacting me today. I enjoy meeting new people and getting to hear their story. If you're social, then we have something in common.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is a fun way to see new locations and gain a local perspective. In addition, it is a fantastic way to get to know new and different people.
Interests
I enjoy exploring how things work, hearing about other's perspectives on current events, seeing new and interesting sites, and traveling. My hobbies include: photography, hiking, swimming, and woodwork.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I connected the University of New Hampshire Engineers Without Borders chapter with a town in Peru and initiated a water filtration project in the town. The project is ongoing and expects to install a chlorination system, new piping, and an ecological filtration system.
