My dad and I are looking to have a fun adventure and have more stories to tell for the future. I went to Vancouver and Seattle, Mexico. Couchsurfed with 3 people in Japan. Then I spent almost a month in Peru and Bolivia. After that, Romania and Iceland.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I couchsurfed in Japan and Iceland found it a great experience. My dad has never traveled aboard before, and I would like to show him how cool couch surfing is. It's a great way to get into modern culture through a local person. My dad is over half German, and I'm a third German. It would be great if someone can show my dad and I around the area - if not, I'm a pretty independent person on my own.

I like all the television shows that run in a series. The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Orange is the New Black, Sons of Anarchy, Game of Thrones, Homeland, Dare Devil, and Gotham.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got fired for making everyone laugh.

I once had a telemarketing job in college. We would call alumni and ask them to donate to the school. I had a years experience, so they asked me to show the new people how it's done. I decided to make a fake call, where I pretended the person on the other line was not interested in donating. I pretended to get very upset and yelled on the phone. I hung up the phone angrily. With a blank stare to the group, I said "I guess they weren't interested." Everyone looked shocked. Then I said "Just kidding, no one was on the other line." I got fired, but it was worth it. The roomful of mostly girls just stared at me, and started laughing so hard their eyes were watering, for what seemed like forever.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'll teach you what I know about American culture. I try to keep up on things. You'll also be welcome to come visit me in the future, and I'll show you Niagara Falls and Buffalo. We can go on the Maid of the Mist and cave of the winds. We can zipline toward the falls. We can go to the place where buffalo wings were invented. If my dad and I can stay at your place in Germany, I'll treat you out to dinner a few times. Or buy your groceries if you wanna cook a few meals. Or both.
