Hello I'm Dave. I am in my early 30's and live in Perth, Western Australia. I like watching and playing sport especially Australian Rules Football (a sport unique to Australia).

I have lived, worked and travelled through West Africa and Europe and love meeting new people and learning about other cultures. Always good to hear stories of fellow travellers and try to accomodate and help people travelling through Australia as can be difficult with English as a second language. I want to travel/backpack through Europe next year so trying to pay it forward and host people here in Australia before I head off.

Lots of interests and a lot are sport related to be honest but I do like any sort of stimulating conversation could be politics or science for example.

I have a very varied and eclectic taste in music depending on my mood and what I am doing.

I do enjoy fantasy books such as game of thrones series and Tolkien stuff. Some of the earlier books by Raymond E Feist and David Gemmell were also good.

Non fiction I read more science articles and small interesting pieces such as travel blogs etc

I live and work in the Perth CBD. Can offer seperate bedroom with own bathroom. I can also share my passion of Australian Rules football (AFL) and explain the rules .

I also cook the best Thai green curry going around.....well at least I think so.
