ABOUT ME
Dave and I are travelers and love to meet other people. After returning to the USA after 7 months of travel in Central America and southern Mexico, we landed in Fort Collins, Colorado. We met so many wonderful people and had such wonderful experiences as Couchsurfing guests we were excited to become hosts in our new home. Since then we have hosted a few lovely guests and we actually became very good friends with one! It is about time for us to travel again....Europe bound 2016!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We have really enjoyed being a part of this larger community. We couchsurfed a few times while traveling in Central America and Mexico in 2009-2010. We met many open, kind, generous people who helped expand our visit by offering helpful information and hidden local gems. We have enjoyed offering the same in return to CS'ers here in Fort Collins.
Interests
Sustainable living by all means possible, natural building, natural medicine, cooking with whole foods, buying organic/local, living off the land, volunteering, sharing, teaching, and helping others where we can. We love good beer (IPA, Pale Ale, Stout, Porter, etc), live MUSIC (Rock, bluegrass, funk, jam bands, folk, blues, and quality house/techno), anything to do with the outdoors (hiking, rock climbing, camping, kayaking, picnics/BBQ, frisbee) Gardening (vegetables, medicinal and culinary herbs), Indian/Thai/Mexican/Italian food. We enjoy going out on the town as much as we like quiet nights at home. We are laid back, sociable, friendly, fun, and welcoming.

Global Natural Health Alliance
a non-profit with a mission to provide alternative/natural medicine to impoverished communities around the world. Our approach is 3-fold. 1) We will provide mobile and permanent clinics in rural areas, 2) We will exchange knowledge with local healers and document traditional medicinal practices in the communities we visit, and 3) we will share our knowledge of permaculture and appropriate technologies that people can use to raise their own standard of living. It is important to us that we are helping people help themselves. We are always looking for opportunities to join forces with other people and organizations with similar aspirations as ours.
