Overview
About Me
I’ve always loved to travel since I was a kid. I used to travel at least three times a year with my grandma. Instead of just leaving me an inheritance, she wanted to show me the world. I’ve studied Spanish, French, Catalan, and Portuguese. It’s always fascinating meeting people from different cultures. I feel that traveling give your different and interesting perspectives on the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing to meet new friends, learn about different cultures, and to keep up my fluency in

Music, Movies, and Books
I like all kinds of music. Not too long ago I saw Buena Vista Social Club in concert. Classic Cuban salsa. It was so cool
seeing band members in their 80’s getting all dressed up and performing classic salsa. And the best part was watching couples get up and salsa dance in the aisles. I haven’t watch many movies recently, but I loved the Jason Borne series. I recently read the Steve Jobs biography and learned a lot about the co-founder of Apple.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I did a harnessed free fall canopy tour in Costa Rica. I also rode a zodiac raft up the Na’Pali coast of Kauai, Hawaii. Both experience were equally exhilarating and terrifying . I will try anything almost once and was glad to try it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can help people practice their English and Spanish. My French needs a little work, and my Catalan and Portuguese is rusty LOL. I’ve gotten into Zumba classes (part Latin dance, part exercise. I can invite people to take a Zumba class with me. People also says I’m a great tour guide and ambassador. I’m a native of the Chicago area and can show friends a lot of fun places and things to do!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’m pretty good at cooking meals. I also can give hosts great travel tips for most cities in the US, as well as Spain, Mexico, Canada, and Costa Rica.
