About Me

I'm a person looking to have delicious conversations and learn more about how people, places, things, and ideas relate. I value active listening, sincerity, and being goofy as shit. I keep finding that life happens here and now, so I'm searching for people and activities to help me bring life here and now.*
*That doesn't discredit naps, laziness, feeling sad, or other perceived forms of unproductivity.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here to meet new folks and engage with the area around me. Let's hit a coffee shop or a trail or a bar or a park. Anywhere else a person might like to be won't hurt!

Interests

I'm experimenting with new things and systems. A rolling stone gathers no moss.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I quit my job, left my apartment, and broke up with my girlfriend in the span of two weeks to pursue happiness. It may sound melodramatic, but it was the first time in my life I faced the future without a safety net. Some praised me, others judged me, and ultimately I found it empowering and fulfilling. It's not a story with an end, and I plan for it to continue that way.

Teach, Learn, Share

Knowledge is power, so I'm all ears. One idea I live by is that everyone is an expert in something, or at least everyone knows things that I don't. With that idea in mind, I have something to learn from everyone I meet, and hopefully I can return the favor.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Open ears, vegan cooking, new music, rudimentary handyman stuff like installing drapes or inspecting your toilet tank, talking for too long about colors

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Cayman Islands, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Norway, Scotland, Spain, Sweden, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
