I've been fortunate enough to travel to some beautiful and amazing places with as ever, much more I want to see.

In between travels I've spent my time helping others in various roles working with young people which has been both a rewarding and at times trying experience but has always brought me joy.

I love to write and have an inexhaustible number of ideas for stories, films and poems. Sometimes I'm lucky enough to capture some of these before they dissappear off into the ether - always carry a notepad and pen!!!

I guess in basic terms I believe in treating others as you wish to be treated. Never judge anyone and help those in need whenever possible.

On a final note, I'd like to someday have a pet penguin. I of course know that in reality this would be cruel. But I reckon having a penguin waddling about the place could never fail to put a smile on your face.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea of meeting others, sharing travel tales and hopefully some fun times and laughs.

As soon as I myself am settled somewhere I'll be hosting for sure!

At present I'm looking to do a Road Trip from Bournemouth into Devon and Cornwall and rather than just potter about by myself it would be great to meet similar people as I go and hopefully someone who can give me an insight into what to see and check out.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Aside from things I've done on my travels if I had to pick one thing it would be organising and managing a Youth Urban Arts event. A whole day in the concert hall at Poole Lighthouse with workshops in graffiti, spoken word, djing, breakdancing and much more. It was an absolute buzz!!!

Teach, Learn, Share

Well. I can still just about play a little guitar and can wing it on a ukulele. I could certainly give someone some tips on creating poems and performance. If you randomly would like to learn how to play poker, I'm your man!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd be more than happy to cook you a meal, shout you a beer and enjoy in intellectual and hopefully stimulating conversation. I'll no doubt have my ukulele with me so I'd be more than happy to come up with an impromptu song just for you and write you a poem or two. And if you have scrabble or chess, you can take pleasure in winning until your heart's content as I love to play but am somewhat useless at both!!!
