Interests

Since I've retired i spend the cold months traveling south to warmer places meeting people and making new friends, I make a lot of things to help with traveling expenses Log Furniture, wooden Canoes custom knifes Burl bowels Rocket mass heaters Cob Ovens and more. All hand made and this interests people along my travels and I get to meet interesting people every where i go, I also like to gold prospect.

Music, Movies, and Books

many movies except most horrors,I like lots of different books but mainly read historical novels , musicals taste varied don't care for hard rock or head banging stuff

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not to blow my own horn but i one time made a world record wooden chain carved with a chain saw, then we Me and my sons traveled around the State raising money and awareness to fight child abuse,I was also a Foster Parent for many kids over many years and was able to see the difference that love and attention can make in a childs life many of the kids we had in our home were effected in a good way.

Teach, Learn, Share

love meeting everyone and if we spend some time together i can learn from anyone, can teach you how to make a great one of a kind piece of furniture out of an old dead tree, a cob oven a wood canoe or a rocket mass heater and I'm learning to cook in a wood fired mud oven
